One of the reasons why yesterday I wanted to cycle longer was to have a shorter day today. I’ve been cycling for 8 days in a row and sometimes it’s nice to have some rest. Or at least shorter legs.

I have no idea how I can get my tent so messy in just a night.

This morning, before leaving, I had to eat more blueberries, it’s a pity I had to leave so much of them there!

Look at them: aren’t they beautiful?

The road continued beautiful and quiet, even during the day not so many noisy cars passed by. The weather continued to be cloudy, it tried to rain a couple of times, then they must have noticed I was cycling there, and they decided not to let it rain.

“Jesus is coming soon, are you ready?”… Really? How do you know? Have you got an SMS from the Almighty? Can you reply and ask him not to have rain in the next days?

Lunch break at the Teno River.

It wasn’t a long way to Karigasniemi. I have been here three years ago although coming from another direction, and heading to Norway. So, I’ll try to stick with the rule “possibly not on the same path twice”. Let’s see what’ll be next.

This is also the way to North Cape. It’s not that faraway, but I haven’t been there yet. Maybe one day.
